About The Position

The Institute is home to more than 300 scientists and support staff that work in on-site laboratories and in collaborative partnerships that span the globe. The Institute’s Core Technologies and Services is seeking a summer intern to support systems optimization efforts. The internship will focus on improving workflow management and resource scheduling. You will assist with workflow documentation, requirements gathering, evaluation of software solutions, and configuration or prototyping within available platforms. This internship might be for you if you: · Possess a high school diploma and are a current college student or enrolled in your first semester of college this coming Fall · Are organized, analytical, and detail-oriented · Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills · Have an interest in IT systems, workflow optimization, or project management If you desire to contribute to operational improvement efforts that support scientific research, we encourage you to apply.
