ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England’s ongoing transition to clean energy. As an Interconnection Service intern, you’ll assist engineers with studies that determine how new solar, wind, and battery projects can connect to the transmission system. You’ll analyze data, explore modeling methods, and learn to use the same tools engineers rely on to plan the grid. This is a great role for students interested in applying power system coursework to one of the most important engineering challenges of our time.
