About The Position

The primary duty for this position is to transport Radiology patients to and from medical floors. MyMichigan Health is a technology driven organization and employees need to demonstrate competency in Microsoft® Windows. An employee may be required to participate in further learning opportunities offered by MyMichigan Health. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be current high school student with a 3.5 GPA required.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills as normally acquired through high school courses required.
• Interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Alphabetical and numerical skills needed to effectively maintain files.
• Credential:BLS: Basic Life Support
• Equivalent Experience: Within 3 months of hire or transfer
• Qualification Source: AHA

Responsibilities

• (60%) Transport patients to and from departments throughout the organization.
• (20%) Transport medical equipment throughout the organization.
• (20%) Assist with clerical duties when necessary.
• Understand basic functions within the RIS.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
