About The Position

AeroGuard Flight Training Center, a pilot training school with headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, and three locations nationwide, seeks a dynamic Student Housing Manager who will be responsible for administration of student housing policies and procedures, and oversee AeroGuard’s population of flight training students in student housing. This position will plan and procure apartments and inventory, direct and enforce policies and present to students during orientation. This position will have a direct report, Student Housing Support, they will manage. The goal of this position is to support incoming and current students and oversee all aspects of Student Accommodation. The position’s responsibilities will fall into the following areas: 1. Housing Set Up Plan and Forecast incoming student volume, out-going student volume, and necessary impacts on apartment volume. Procure new apartments on a timely basis, or manage the return of apartments as not required within leases. Oversee and procure necessary inventory of supplies. Act as a back up for Student Housing Support. 2. Housing Management Develop, update and oversee all AeroGuard Student Housing Policies and Procedures. Oversee or conduct Monthly apartment inspections of all housing units. Provide guidance to the students to keep the living quarters clean and maintained in accordance with housing agreements and AeroGuard policies. Manage Vendors including cleaning and utility set up. Control Costs incurred by Apartments and Housing Department. Track and enforce Student Housing payments and collect past due’s Act as a backup for Student Housing Support. 3. Housing Support Manage and oversee student support and communication Relay repair and/or work order requests from student tenants to Housing Coordinator. Act as a backup and point of escalation for Student Housing Support. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
  • Two Years of related experience preferred.
  • Housing/Property Management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
