About The Position

Perform duties related to the awarding and disbursing of student financial aid in the student information system. Complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and in compliance with federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations. Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and deliver accurate and timely financial aid awards. Maintain spreadsheets of awards for tracking purposes. Create and/or generate reports, forms, or other tools necessary for awarding decisions. Assist with gathering data for reports. Verify information for outside agencies and perform general administrative tasks for the department. Perform other duties as assigned to be department objectives.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of experience in a professional office setting with computer skills that utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team centered environment required.
  • Strong organizational and task management skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience with data integrity and accuracy is preferred
  • General familiarity with collegiate financial aid is preferred.
