This position is for Student Employees within Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality (EMDH) at Illinois State University. Roles are available in residential dining (Watterson Dining Commons, Marketplace at Linkins), retail food service (McAlister's Deli, The Landing, Timbers Grill, Qdoba, Starbucks), and catering at various University locations, including the Bone Student Center. Employees will be involved in preparing and serving meals and buffets, aiming to provide an outstanding dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests. EMDH is committed to enhancing the campus experience in a diverse community and is the largest student employer at Illinois State University. Student employees have the opportunity to improve time management skills, build their resume, learn new skills, and enjoy University breaks off work. Work schedules are designed to accommodate existing class schedules, with further accommodations made for finals week.
