Hiring Student Caregivers, Home Care
About The Position
Join Assisting Hands Home Care to work with a team that is winning awards for how we treat our student caregivers! Come work with us where you will be respected, valued and have an RN Supervisor to train and support you to care for one client age 65+ in their private residence or retirement community. Competitive pay: $18-$20 per hour. An excellent opportunity to experience an option to care for one client rather than an entire floor of patients in a hospital or other nursing facility. Students not pursuing nursing degrees find meaningful work while earning funds to pay for tuition. We are looking for reliable, compassionate and kind student caregivers in Nursing or other Health Sciences programs who are looking to work in Suffolk and Norfolk Counties and surrounding communities. We offer flexible schedules across all hours and days to accommodate your academic schedule. You must have a valid driver's license and your own car to get to and from your client’s home. Assisting Hands Home Care is a proven brand founded in 1996 with over 200 locations nationwide, has been in metro-Boston for 10 years and serves over 200 clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking – required to lift 50lbs maximum
- Simple Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Personal Hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Light Housekeeping
- Occasional Transportation of your client – to errands or appointments, we reimburse your miles
- Engage in Activities, Companionship and Conversation
