The Digital Accessibility Center works to ensure that UT class and other online materials are accessible, especially for disabled students, faculty, and staff with access needs. Purpose The Document Accessibility Student Associate position is responsible for providing course- and content-level remediation to learning materials. This includes adding features to course content such as alternative text/image descriptions, logical heading structure, and improved design/readability of documents. This provides a valuable service to the entire campus, especially for students that have accessibility needs to be able to participate and learn fully in their classes.
