About The Position

The Student Assistant will provide general organizational and light facilities support. This role is ideal for a dependable student who is comfortable with hands-on tasks such as organizing storage areas, breaking down boxes, light cleaning, and assisting with filing and disposal of materials. The position helps maintain clean, safe and well-organized workspaces.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move boxes or materials (up to approximately 25–30 lbs)
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable performing physical and hands-on tasks

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with organizing, filing, or light facilities work
• Familiarity with basic office environments

Responsibilities

• Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes and packaging materials
• Organize supply closets, storage rooms, and shelving areas
• Arrange shelves in an orderly, clearly labeled manner
• Perform light general cleaning (e.g., wiping surfaces, tidying areas)
• Assist with filing, sorting, and organizing documents and materials
• Dispose of garbage and unwanted or obsolete materials following guidelines
• Move and rearrange supplies or equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other general support duties as assigned
