Position Summary The Student Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Strategic Communications and Brand Management Department while gaining hands-on exposure to professional communications work in a university setting. This position is primarily administrative in nature, with opportunities to support communications initiatives and content development under the guidance of professional staff. The student assistant will support daily office operations and assist with a variety of tasks that contribute to the department’s effectiveness. This role offers valuable experience in office administration, organizational processes, and higher education communications. Preference will be given to students with an academic background or interest in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and able to work independently while maintaining professionalism when interacting with campus partners and external contacts.
