This internship plays a hands-on role in supporting that mission—helping transform data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions and enhance overall organizational performance.

Nature and Scope
This is a part-time summer internship for college students, working up to 20 hours per week based on business needs.
Interns will gain exposure to the fundamentals of data analytics within a financial services environment—including data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization. They’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain visibility into how data-driven insights support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization.

This internship is designed to build foundational analytical skills while also developing professional skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Interns will also gain insight into how Data Analytics partners with other departments to drive business outcomes and improve the member experience.

Requirements

• Interns will need to comply with work authorization requirements.
• This role is best suited for students with an interest in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, or related fields, particularly within a financial services environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
• Interest in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Analytics team with day-to-day operational and project-based activities
• Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis
• Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
• Participate in initiatives that leverage data to improve processes and outcomes
• Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs and support decision-making
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity
