About The Position

We are seeking individuals who embody these values to join our COO Administration team in the role of Student Administrative Intern. This position is Monday – Friday, 8 hours per week, onsite in Downtown Indianapolis, IN, and the internship will run from mid-May through the end of July. As a Student Administrative Intern, your role is designed to support project-based work or ad hoc needs within various departments such as Guest Relations, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, and Supply Chain. This role is rotational, meaning your support needs may shift during your internship. Interns will attend team meetings, communicate relevant opportunities for assigned projects, and provide operational and administrative support. Throughout the internship, you will complete a project culminating in a presentation. Requirements

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Skilled in time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must have completed sophomore year of high school
  • Candidates are required to be enrolled at an IU Health affiliated high school to be eligible for the Student Administrative Intern position

Nice To Haves

  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

  • Help support project-based work or ad hoc needs within Guest Relations, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Supply Chain, and other areas as needs arise
  • Attend team meetings
  • Be responsible for communicating opportunities relevant to assigned projects or tasks
  • Provide operational and administrative support to complete various functions and tasks
  • Complete a project they will culminate in the form of a presentation
