About The Position

PGP International, an ABF Ingredients Company, has an opportunity for a paid Student Internship in 2026. This internship is open to a high school or college student who is at least 18 years old to work collaboratively with stakeholders including VP of Operations and HR to assist with various office administrative duties. The intern will learn about food manufacturing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures, quality and food safety, effective communication skills, effective time management skills, general professionalism skills, and software and hardware experience. Successfully completing this role can lead to full-time employment with PGP International and recommendation letters.

Requirements

• Demonstrate positive attitude, approachability, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail
• Previous relevant work experience
• Computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Power Point
• Excellent work attendance
• English

• Prior work experience in manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Assist VP of Operations with assigned projects
• Assist HR with Onboarding and Orientation Trainings
• Scanning and filing
• Assist with Health, Safety Environmental training schedule and database
• Ordering office and other supplies
• Maintain visitor, contractor and employee sign in/out logs
• Update contractor safety database
• Create monthly report for contractor hours
• Assist with computer inventory and electronic waste
• Assist with safety shoe eligibility and prescription safety glass vouchers
• Arrange special events, order lunches for visitors and audits
• Assist other departments with administrative duties as required
