About The Position

Working from our office in Duluth, Georgia, the Student Accountability Program Coordinator works alongside the Director of Student Accountability to ensure that all accountability procedures are implemented with accuracy, consistency, and full compliance across all student populations. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of district-wide accountability systems related to attendance, academic progress, special populations, and regulatory reporting. This is a 12-month, full-time position.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Education or related field
  • Valid Georgia Tier I Leadership and Clearance certification, or the ability to obtain appropriate certification in a designated timeframe.
  • Must have a Clearance Certificate through the Department of Education or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of the first day of hire.

  • This position requires frequent travel throughout the state of Georgia to conduct official school business. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and be comfortable with regular day trips and occasional overnight travel as needed.
  • A reliable personal vehicle is required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Responsibilities

  • Verifies that all Student Accountability staff, school-based personnel, and support teams are adequately trained on procedures related to compliance, documentation, and accountability procedures for all student populations.
  • Provides ongoing training to school administrators, teachers, counselors, and accountability staff regarding attendance, academic probation, special education, Section 504, English learner, and intervention compliance requirements.
  • Ensures that all personnel responsible for compliance-related tasks (including data entry, documentation, parent communication, and intervention tracking) receive initial and ongoing training.
  • Serves as a liaison between Student Accountability team and school teams, and support departments (Special Education, EL, Counseling, Technology, and Administration) to ensure alignment of accountability expectations.
  • Ensures that all stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates regarding accountability policies, procedures, deadlines, and regulatory changes.
  • Monitors compliance for all student populations, including general education, special education, Section 504, English learners, etc.
  • Ensures that required documentation, interventions, and timelines are completed in accordance with accountability standards.
  • Conducts regular audits of student records, data systems, and compliance trackers to identify gaps, errors, or risk areas.
  • Oversees the collection, maintenance, and accuracy of accountability data across multiple systems, including attendance, academic progress, interventions, and compliance documentation.
  • Develops and maintains tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor student progress and compliance metrics.
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency across departments and reporting cycles.
  • Must be proficient and knowledgeable in excel/google sheets including the use of vlookup, formula management, and formatting options.
  • Supports the supervision and daily workflow of Student Accountability staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with established procedures.
  • Provides guidance, feedback, and coaching to staff to improve performance, efficiency, and procedural adherence.
  • Assists in onboarding and mentoring new team members within the Student Accountability Department.
