The Director of MTSS serves as the schoolwide instructional leader responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring Georgia Connections Academy’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for students in grades K–12. This role ensures that academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions are data-driven, evidence-based, and implemented with fidelity across all grade bands. Working collaboratively with principals, instructional leaders, counselors, special education staff, and student services teams, the Director of MTSS leads systems that identify student needs early, provide timely and targeted interventions, and monitor progress to improve student outcomes in literacy, mathematics, and behavior. This position plays a critical role in advancing instructional excellence, equity, and access for all learners in a statewide virtual learning environment.
