About The Position

Supporting faculty, students, and classes using the printer and software. Training/tutoring of students on procedures and how to work with equipment and software Transfer of skills to potential future coordinators by creating training information (videos, web information, etc.) Create and maintain web presence - for both in-house and external use Assist in the academic use of the printer and potential writing of reports/grants Connect with Admissions regarding tours for prospective students or community organizers Learn about new innovations of 3d printing and that can be brought to Augsburg Connect with other 3d printer coordinators from other schools/companies to learn best practices Open to all students, including those without workstudy.

Requirements

Desire to learn more about 3d printing and helping others with 3D printing
Responsible with strong organizational skills
Independent worker/researcher
Good listener and exceptional communicator, able to work with faculty and students
Experience with CAD software or ability and willingness to learn
Ability to adjust schedules as needed to support use of 3d printer
Ability to take feedback and make appropriate adjustments
