About The Position

The Chapman Radio General Managers are the front facing students of the Chapman University radio station and oversee all operations.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to Chapman Radio’s mission and community.
  • Basic understanding of radio operations with a willingness to learn new technical skills.
  • Previous involvement with Chapman Radio or comparable media/broadcasting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/lead the whole Chapman Radio staff, team, and class.
  • Manage schedules/
  • Approve any final event outlines or marketing plans.
  • Frequently interact with administration, professional staff, and campus partners.
  • Develop the budget in conjunction with advisor(s).
  • Manage student activity fee allocation.
