About The Position

The Chapman Radio Academics Director supports the organization and faculty with managing the COM -108 class. Responsibilities Create course curriculum and manage class activities (includes boot camps/training, collecting assignments, and creating powerpoints, peer reviews, and tutorials). Supporting radio operations and learning new technical skills. Be communicative, organized, and able to work with large groups.

Requirements

  • Must have taken COM -108 and be familiar with radio equipment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to Chapman Radio’s mission and community
  • Basic understanding of radio operations with a willingness to learn new technical skills
  • Previous involvement with Chapman Radio or comparable media/broadcasting
