About The Position

You will be the Structures Analysis Engineer - IFG for the Integrated Fighter Group which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge structural solutions to advanced fighter aircraft. What You Will Be Doing As the Structures Analysis Engineer - IFG you will be responsible for applying advanced stress analysis techniques to ensure the airworthiness and performance of fighter‑aircraft structures. You will work closely with production, sustainment, and test teams to turn complex engineering challenges into reliable, high‑impact solutions.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
Experience with structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure
Experience with metallic and composite analysis

Nice To Haves

Experience with free-body diagrams, classical hand calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) pre- and post-processing, Linux or other computer languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Support F‑16 Production and F‑22 Sustainment Material Review Board (MRB) repairs to ensure discrepant parts or assemblies meet required strength standards.
Perform stress analysis on metallic and composite materials, sizing detail parts and assessing the strength of primary and secondary aircraft structures and systems.
Certify new and existing designs by performing strength analysis, releasing drawings, and preparing analysis reports.
Evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight for different structural arrangements and concepts through analysis and trade studies.
Provide input for structural tests, including test requirements, loads, and predicted results.
