Responsible for the implementation of processes and infrastructure to ensure delivery of high-quality products and timeliness of product operations. This may include learning to employ basic technological concepts (e.g., data structures and database design) to work with Information Technology professionals in implementing process improvement and risk mitigation projects and due diligence responsibilities such as gathering information, analyzing operational risk performance, identifying possible risks, and making recommendations for operational improvements to product offerings. Under general supervision, the analyst uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience or training to facilitate the operational and trading functions of the Raymond James Structured Investments (“RJ SI”) Platform. The role involves following established procedures to perform routine tasks facilitating the entire life cycle of structured investments, including initial product setup, pre-trade suitability review and checks, ongoing reporting and support, and primary and secondary market trading. The analyst accurately executes trades for structured investments and provides timely execution reports to financial advisors. They guide financial advisors and Management in the resolution of complex problems and issues, resolving most questions and problems while referring new or unusual issues to leadership. Routine contact with internal and external stakeholders is required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts and information. The position also involves employing knowledge to conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of process/systems improvement initiatives that often involve several areas of the firm outside of RJ SI, and performing other work with substantial variety and complexity as needed under Management guidance.
