Requirements

• You must be working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline
• You must be in your Junior (3rd) year
• You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent (Solid Works, etc.)
• You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You must be a highly motivated, self-starter
• You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus
• You must be eligible to receive ITAR clearance (US Citizen or Green Card holder)

Nice To Haves

• Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering installation solutions
• Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
• Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions
• Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives
• Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
• Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
