About The Position

How you’ll make an impact on the structural team: Work individually or in a team under the guidance of a supervisor in an office environment. Prepare construction documents, including foundation plans, framing plans, sections, and details based on engineered sketches and company design standards. A willingness to learn basic structural engineering concepts and how commercial structures are constructed. Interpret and translate engineering calculations and design concepts into accurate technical drawings. Maintain company drafting standards and participate in the quality assurance of completed work. Coordinate structural drawings with multiple discipline-specific project team members. Perform site visits with field measuring and observations. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in drafting and design, architecture, or engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience in drafting low and mid-rise buildings

Nice To Haves

  • Autodesk Revit Certifications are not required but preferred
