A local bolt manufacturing company in Portland, OR is hiring an experienced Structural Steel Welder to join their team. We’re looking for dependable, safety-minded welders with strong TIG and MIG skills who take pride in clean, consistent, high-quality work. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with steady hours and competitive pay.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of TIG and MIG welding experience
• Structural steel welding experience required
• Strong blueprint and fabrication drawing reading skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or industrial welding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
• Produce consistent, high-quality welds to company standards
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy and quality
• Maintain welding equipment and tools
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient
