About The Position

The Structural Engineering Intern will assist with engineering work related to design and analysis of structures in residential, commercial, or mixed-used development projects.

Requirements

• 0-4 years of work experience
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation software
• Microsoft office software
• Writing emails, letters and memos
• Multi-tasking
• Ethical Conduct
• Ability to work take direction and work independently or with a team
• Efficient use of time to complete tasks accurately, meet deadlines and within budget
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design structures of a variety of materials including steel, concrete, wood and masonry.
• Assist preparing construction plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates.
• Learn about relevant design standards and procedures.
