We are seeking Structural Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to be part of our New Parking Design team in our Indianapolis, IN. This role will work on a variety of parking structure design projects, mixed use facilities, and pedestrian bridges; a structural engineering background is required, and previous experience with parking design is preferred. While in this position, you will be a member of a design team working closely with project managers, other structural engineers and design technicians. Requirements

BSCE in civil engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
EIT license required, PE license preferred.
0-5 years’ experience in structural engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD and or Revit.
Experience with finite element modeling software (SAP 2000, RISA 3D, Tekla)
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to travel occassionally in the field.

Nice To Haves

Related work experience with parking structures is preferred, but not required.
Previous experience with construction administration is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with project design, production of reports, specifications, and drawings.
Perform project structural engineering analysis and design.
Assist team during the design phase, including project design, production of drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Assist team with some client coordination throughout the design and construction process.
Assist with the development of construction documents using CAD and or Revit
Assist team during the bidding phase, including pre-bid meetings, addenda, bid evaluations, review of alternates and substitutions.
Assist team during the construction administration phase, including preconstruction meetings, construction review, project meetings, test report overview, project close-out, etc.
