A Structural Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design of buildings and infrastructure responsible for analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity and documenting the scope of work .They collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to create safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop detailed plans and specifications for structures, ensuring they meet project criteria and scope, safety standards and regulatory requirements. Perform complex calculations, oversee drawing development and prepare specifications for assigned projects. Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulations. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved Conduct site inspections and assess existing structures for potential problems or necessary renovations. Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction managers to integrate structural solutions into the overall project design. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation, review and approve submittals, and participate in owner and project meetings. Other duties as assigned
