Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking an early career Civil/Structural CAD Designer in our Engineering Services During Construction (ESDC) Production group in the KIE Omaha, NE office. The successful candidate will perform a variety of civil, geotechnical, and structural CAD / Modeling tasks using Autodesk or Bentley related software to update contract drawings to support construction operations As-Built/Record Drawing requirements. They will also lead coordination efforts with key construction and client staff to resolve any question or concerns during the As-Built process. Our ESDC Production group provides value to the success of our clients' projects by managing post design change resolution which is critical to quality project design, cost control, and construction excellence. We assist Kiewit infrastructure districts in the process of managing released for construction drawing changes through construction operation excellence. KIE tasks our ESDC Production department to help Kiewit build projects which includes integrated As-Built/Record drawing oversight and management, train construction personnel on documenting accurate redline/markups, capturing accurate redline/markup information from construction, and incorporating into contract CAD design drawings. Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of complex projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs, and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety.
