About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be part of the mechanical team that helps develop innovative designs for New Glenn Avionics. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the transition of the New Glenn launch vehicle from development to full-rate production. You will be responsible for providing analytical support for sustaining engineering activities, with a primary focus on managing the engineering change process for multiple program variants. This position demands a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform robust technical assessments of engineering drawings and models to support our fast-paced production environment. You must have a willingness to take ownership of unfamiliar and complex problems, communicate effectively, and deliver technically excellent results in an timely ambitious and dynamic environment.
