The Motor Vehicle Operator plays a vital role within the organization by operating vehicles and equipment to support assigned departmental tasks. This includes the operation of dewatering systems and transporting dewatered sludge to designated application sites, along with other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required, along with one year of college coursework or vocational training in a relevant field.
  • A valid state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is mandatory, along with compliance with minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites.
  • Operate dewatering equipment and belt presses efficiently.
  • Perform manual labor, including adjusting polymer feeds and cleaning machinery.
  • Optimize filtrate quality during dewatering processes.
  • Conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles and assigned equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by department protocols.
  • Perform general housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks.
  • Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for all operated equipment.
  • Lubricate and maintain tractors and spreading equipment.
  • Attend safety training and strictly adhere to company safety policies.
