About The Position

Visit.org is seeking a passionate and ambitious Freelance Street Photographer & Videographer to capture candid, high-quality content at various events across New York City. This on-demand freelance role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses a strong eye for visual storytelling. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for Visit.org's mission, and the energy and discipline to be a builder in a startup tech environment. Visit.org helps companies discover and book social impact team experiences led by and benefiting local nonprofits, providing scalable content for purpose-driven employee and client engagement to customers like Colgate, Paramount, Visa, HubSpot, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The role offers competitive pay and requires availability for an assignment on Friday, April 24, 2026. Requirements

Proven experience in street photography and/or event videography
Strong portfolio showcasing candid, in-the-moment content
Own equipment: camera, lenses, stabilization, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
NYC-based and able to travel within the city
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology

Responsibilities

Capture candid, street-style photos and short-form video at live events
Deliver high-quality, edited assets within agreed timelines
Adapt to diverse event environments such as corporate, social impact, and community
Collaborate with our team on shot lists and creative direction when needed
