The selected candidates will be assigned to the Street Assessment Unit, performing technical work in the inspection and rating of general conditions of the street, using a tablet and the STAR application system to rate the extent and severity of each distress in the street segment; follows daily inspection routes and locates designated streets as assigned; performs windshield surveys by driving individual assigned segments to evaluate the extent and severity of distress of the pavement; responds to work related emails, phone call, and text messages; monitors and properly maintains assigned equipment, communication devices, and vehicle mileage; operates a passenger vehicle and performs related duties.
