About The Position

Analyze market research on latest industry trends, competitive landscape and product innovations. Develop recommendations on go-forward 1-5 year strategy on where to play and how to win. Develops some short-term plans and levers to optimize business and financial performance, facilitate regular follow-ups on strategic planning to foster collaboration and ensure accountability. Structure analytical approaches and develops project guidelines, objectives, strategies deliverables, and tactics to drive successful outcomes. Manages large, cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to internal stakeholders. Consults with business executives on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process, including risk management and new growth opportunities. Provides thought leadership and contributes to expanding the knowledge base within area of expertise which includes developing new methods, techniques and criteria for developing strategy analysis and recommendations. Collaborates across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy and direction with corporate and divisional/business units.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Has at least 8-10+ years of work experience, preferably 3-4+ in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, or a related field
  • Structures ambiguous problems and takes action to solve them independently while managing project objectives.
  • Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.
  • Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives.
  • Oversees significant research and analysis efforts.
  • Identifies leading-edge analytical tools and techniques to evaluate strategic objectives and gain new insights to business issues.
  • Able to conduct an impact analysis capturing all the likely consequences of a decision.
