Our 25+ award-winning restaurant partners span every cuisine you can think of, from Greek to Thai, and come from the minds of the best chefs in the industry—Bobby Flay, José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson, and more. And our diners don’t have to choose just one: they can mix and match dishes from as many Made by Wonder restaurants as they’d like, or order from neighborhood gems near them. Everything is made to order at our brick-and-mortar locations across the East Coast and delivered fast and free, and more locations are opening every week. The best in the business are coming to Wonder, working every day to make us the destination for every mealtime moment. Join a team of technology, culinary, and logistics pioneers, backed by top-tier venture capitalists, and help us make great food more accessible. Within Wonder, the Robotics team is a core pillar of our innovation strategy. We build the automation solutions that help make Wonder’s 'no-compromise' promise possible at scale. Our mission is to use robotics to enable incredible variety and culinary authenticity. By reimagining the kitchen environment, we improve the daily experience of our team members and ensure every customer receives a perfect meal, every time. About The Opportunity We are looking for a versatile, high-agency Strategy & Operations Manager to serve as the organizational "glue" for the Wonder Robotics team. This role is a unique hybrid of Chief of Staff, Operations Lead, and Strategic Partner, designed for someone who thrives on variety and high-stakes execution. Reporting directly to the SVP of Robotics, you will be intimately involved in our most critical initiatives. You will transition seamlessly between high-level strategic tasks—such as building exec-level presentations—and the essential tactical work required to keep a world-class robotics function running. You are a "force multiplier" who takes ownership of action items, manages external vendors, and acts as the primary point of contact for most back-office requests and operations.

Requirements

  • Extreme High Agency: A self-starter and "go-getter" who operates with minimal direction, takes initiative, and possesses the resourcefulness to get unblocked in any situation.
  • Exceptional Versatility: Willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team win, whether that is designing a strategic presentation or troubleshooting a printer issue.
  • Advanced Presentation Skills: Mastery of slide design and the ability to synthesize complex information into polished, high-quality decks for an executive audience.
  • Strong Financial Literacy: Comfortable working with Finance and Accounting teams; someone who can be deeply relied upon for accuracy in data and reporting. Highly proficient with spreadsheets and excel.
  • Active Listening: Excellent note-taking skills with the ability to identify the "signal from the noise" in fast-paced meetings.
  • Communication: Clear and professional interpersonal skills, comfortable representing the Robotics team to external vendors and senior leadership.
  • Organization: You’re able to multitask while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail. You prioritize proactively and manage your time effectively.
  • Systems Oriented: You recognize the value of formal systems and can thoughtfully implement them with stakeholders. But you balance them with an intuitive understanding of our team culture, ensuring new workflows feel like an acceleration rather than a burden.
  • Experience: 5+ years in operations, program management, or a high-level administrative role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or engineering environment.
  • This role is in-person 5 days a week in the office.
  • This role is based in our Boston office in Charlestown, MA

Responsibilities

  • Executive Support & Strategy: Join key meetings, capturing critical information and independently execute follow-up action items to drive projects forward.
  • High-Stakes Communications: Create high-quality, exec-ready slide decks for meetings and internal reporting that translate complex initiatives into easily understandable and compelling narratives.
  • Office and Lab Management: Lead our office and lab expansion initiative and manage landlord and vendor communications. Ensure the office and lab is supporting the evolving needs of the team, including (if/when needed) hiring, onboarding and managing an office manager.
  • Team Integration: Oversee the operational integration of the robotics team into Wonder’s broader organization. Act as a strategic connector between the robotics team and Wonder’s core functions (Finance, Accounting, IT and HR)
  • Finance and Accounting: Work with Wonder’s accounting team to implement systems for accurate reporting. Act as the team’s primary liaison for finance and accounting, track budgets and resolve inquiries. Implement systems to reduce bureaucracy and improve efficiency.
  • Candidate Experience and New Hire Onboarding: Design and oversee the new candidate and new hire experience ensuring hiring managers are supported and new hires can hit the ground running immediately.
  • Business Systems: Support the robotics team with systems, processes and tools to evolve our ways of working as we grow. This can include systems for purchasing, time tracking, project management, automations etc.
  • Special Projects: Handle ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives as priorities evolve
  • Team Culture: Coordinate team events, offsites, and key meetings to foster team cohesion and productivity during periods of rapid growth.

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary package including equity and 401K.
  • Additionally, we provide multiple medical, dental, and vision plans to meet all of our employees' needs as well as many benefits and perks that are not listed.
