About The Position
The Strategy Department Internship is a paid, 3-month learning experience for first-year graduate students passionate about shaping the future of healthcare. Designed as a pathway into a full-time role, this internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare strategy, consulting and organizational transformation at one of the world’s most respected health systems. High-performing interns are strongly considered for full-time conversion opportunities within the Mayo Clinic Strategy Department following graduation. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of strategic disciplines, develop critical thinking and communication skills, and contribute meaningfully to high-impact projects that shape the future of healthcare. During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question - Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. Responsibilities
- Work directly with Strategy Managers and cross-functional teams to support organizational priorities.
- Apply strategic, analytical, and consulting methods to solve complex business challenges.
- Contribute to initiatives spanning healthcare delivery, digital transformation, applied analytics, and operational improvement.
- Help design frameworks, tools, and models that advance Mayo Clinic’s long-term strategic goals.
