The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. The Global Business Strategy and Operations (GBS&O) team is responsible for providing insightful review, perspective and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Our mission is to architect and accelerate the transformation of our Global Business Organization (GBO) and partners across Ads. GBS&O is part of the Global Go-to-Market (GTM) organization that ensures Google's complex business is pursuing the best strategy and executing flawlessly. Team members are experts in business strategy and operations - analytical and strategic, yet highly pragmatic and results-oriented. As a member of the Strategy & Planning team, your primary responsibility will be to define and lead global research initiatives. This involves close collaboration with executives and senior cross-functional leaders within Google's Business, Product, Engineering, Brand, and Sales organizations. Your goal is to deliver actionable insights that directly inform business decision-making and are readily implementable by executive leadership. You will achieve this by developing a deep understanding of key business objectives, identifying potential risks and challenges, and recognizing opportunities to ensure all research efforts align with and support the company's strategic goals. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
