We’re hiring a Strategy Analyst to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Strategy Analyst delivers impactful analyses that inform decision-making across teams. They design and maintain dashboards and tools, support cross-functional initiatives, and continuously refine analytics best practices to improve data quality and reporting. Proactive and adaptable, they distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders. This position is fully remote.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical thinker with a structured approach to solving complex, ambiguous problems; skilled at connecting insights across diverse data sets, teams, and areas of the business.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated with a high degree of ownership; resourceful, proactive, and outcome-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and balance competing priorities.
  • Versatile and capable across multiple functional areas; thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapts swiftly to shifting priorities, even under tight timelines or with limited notice.
  • Clear and confident communicator, skilled at translating data into insights for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or analytical discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Finance).
  • At least 2 years of professional or academic experience in business analytics or a related field.
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • experience with R or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses across market intelligence, sales analytics, customer segmentation, and other core domains to uncover trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and internal tools that provide accurate, timely, and actionable information across teams.
  • Establish and refine analytics best practices to improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and enhance delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in sales, operations, and analytics to define problems, shape analyses, and deliver clear, actionable solutions.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, and other teams to define KPIs, uncover business drivers, and align performance tracking with organizational goals
  • Coordinate and drive execution across verticals by managing timelines, aligning dependencies, and ensuring on-time delivery of key milestones
  • Manage a prioritized analytics backlog, balancing urgency, impact, and alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate on customer-facing presentations by translating insights into compelling narratives and visuals for pitches
  • Gather feedback on analyses, assess stakeholder engagement, and continuously refine communication for clarity and effectiveness
