As one of the nation’s largest electrical contractors, Rosendin offers a dynamic environment where interns gain hands-on exposure to strategic business initiatives that help shape the future of our company and the construction industry. Our Strategy Analyst Internship is designed for high-performing undergraduates with a strong interest in corporate strategy, business analytics, and long-term planning. You will work alongside our Corporate Strategy team on real projects that directly inform executive decision-making. Our Summer Internship program is a 10-to-12-week paid opportunity. Your internship, at Rosendin, can be the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge outside of the classroom and apply the concepts and theories of your major field of study. The hands-on real-world experiences that you encounter during our internship program enable you to develop your potential and make key contacts for future networking. Use your internship to determine your interest level in certain career fields, get feedback from professionals regarding your strengths and weaknesses, and to further your education and expand your resume. In mid-June, we invite all our Interns across the country, to spend a week at Rosendin’s Internship Week. Subject matter includes Construction Project Management, Estimating, Engineering, Safety, and more. We will visit live job sites and have team building events to make this a very valuable part of your overall internship experience.

Requirements

  • Current Junior (3rd-year) undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.6 GPA
  • Demonstrated interest in strategy, business analysis, consulting, or organizational development
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skill
  • Majors: Open to all majors, including but not limited to: E.g. Business, Economics, Engineering, Political Science, Data Science, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Conducting market, competitor, and industry analysis to support long-term planning
  • Building data-driven insights to help evaluate business opportunities
  • Supporting strategic projects related to operations, safety, people, technology, and growth
  • Assisting with development of presentations and materials for senior leaders
  • Analyzing internal data to uncover trends and performance metrics
  • Strategic meetings, and cross-functional discussions
  • Participating in the company-wide Rosendin Internship Week (training, jobsite visits, teambuilding)
