About The Position

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner and operational driver for Member & Digital Experience (MDX) during one of the most significant transformation initiatives in BECU’s history. You’ll help lead and orchestrate the SAFE integration, ensuring operational readiness, strategic alignment, and seamless coordination across sub workstreams, executives, and cross functional teams. Your ability to influence senior leaders, navigate complex change, and bring structure to high visibility, enterprise level programs will accelerate BECU’s growth and elevate member experience across markets. Ultimately, you will help shape how MDX scales, evolves, and delivers for members—both today and into the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in operations management, project management, business implementation, or organizational communications, with a strong preference for candidates who have gained this experience within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience leading large-scale project teams.
  • Enterprise-level program and project management experience, including complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAFE Integration Program Delivery: You will drive the execution of MDX’s largest enterprise initiative, coordinating cross-functional readiness across marketing, digital, retail, and contact center teams while ensuring alignment with the IMO and SAFE partners.
  • Guide Cross-Functional Sub Workstreams: You’ll partner with executive and director-level workstream leads to clarify requirements, monitor progress, anticipate risks, and maintain alignment across all MDX functions.
  • Act as the Executive Right Hand: You will operate as a strategic extension of MDX executive leadership, providing thought partnership, decision support, and high-level oversight for integration deliverables.
  • Shape Divisional Strategy: You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to refine divisional strategic direction and ensure integration work aligns with enterprise priorities and long-term roadmap goals.
  • Develop Operational Cadence and Structure: You will establish and manage MDX operating rhythms—business reviews, visibility routines, and planning cycles—to maintain clarity, momentum, and accountability.
  • Serve as a Change Leader: You will guide teams through major changes, bridging communications, aligning stakeholders, and enabling progress even when partners are under heavy demand.
  • Lead Division-Level Communications: You’ll develop messaging and communications that unify the division, clarify goals, and reinforce transparency throughout transformational efforts.
  • Prepare Executive and Board-Ready Deliverables: You will build concise, high-quality updates, proposals, and presentations to support decision-making among the executive team and board-level leadership.
  • Influence Senior Leaders Across the Organization: You’ll collaborate with executives, senior leaders, and SAFE partners to drive decisions, remove barriers, and ensure readiness for legal Day 1 and beyond.
  • Leverage Data and Feedback to Drive Improvements: You’ll use survey insights and organizational feedback to identify trends and create action plans that enhance both employee and member experiences.
  • Support Organizational Design and Planning: You will contribute to discussions on structure, staffing, budgets, and long-range planning to help shape MDX’s future-state operating model.
