This senior manager position is responsible for managing a team in the creation of contracts by leveraging expert knowledge of KP purchase agreements and provisions; ensuring the alignment of agreements with sourcing strategies; partnering with key stakeholders to ensure business requirements are translated into contract specifications; understanding and anticipating the short and long-term impacts and risks associated with agreements and business decisions; fostering relationships and managing the internal stakeholder process throughout the contract lifecycle; and managing the preparation of written contracts, reports, and presentations for diverse stakeholders. This position is also responsible for managing the completion and review of contract cost and spend analyses; managing complex and/or high impact contract negotiations both verbally and in writing; overseeing the management of projects or portions of larger projects; managing the reporting and measurement of SLAs and metrics; overseeing the supplier selection and management process; and reviewing and selecting supplier proposals for leadership approval.
