Strategic Sourcing Manager
About The Position
Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager for Honeywell International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ Responsibilities: Provide leadership across multiple sourcing energy projects. Experience working with electrical and mechanical contractors in the construction industry for Fire Detection/Prevention, Security, Building Management Systems. Establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business Leadership as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. Responsible for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. Work alongside Engineering and Project Management you will develop SOW's, RFQ/P's, and create best value competitive bid packages and metrics. Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.
Requirements
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in sourcing/procurement or in SIOP (Sales Inventory Order Planning) environment or Project Management.
- Must possess 3 years of experience in the following: MRP/SAP environment with purchasing and commodity management; management of key suppliers, supporting various negotiations; payment terms, price, quality, performance, delivery.
