About The Position

Purpose and Scope The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Spend leads enterprise sourcing initiatives across a wide range of non-product categories, with an immediate focus on identifying and driving high-impact Commercial and Marketing spend initiatives, while also maintaining strong competency in IT sourcing and the ability to partner effectively with technology stakeholders. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers across indirect spend categories using market intelligence, benchmarking, competitive bid processes, and total cost‑of‑ownership analysis. Develop, execute and maintain category strategies aligned with enterprise priorities and stakeholder needs (Commercial, Marketing, and IT). Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to source creative agencies, digital marketing services, events/tradeshow partners, advertising vendors, and market research providers. Support Marketing Operations by sourcing digital platforms, content development services, analytics tools, and marketing technology (MarTech) solutions. Collaborate with IT leadership to source and negotiate software licenses, hardware, SaaS solutions, cybersecurity services, and IT consulting support. Lead IT contract negotiations focused on optimizing licensing structures, reducing cost and redundancy, and ensuring compliance with subscription data security requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for indirect suppliers, managing commercial terms, service levels, performance metrics, and issue escalation/resolution. Oversee supplier qualification, performance management and risk assessments, including financial stability, compliance, business continuity, and reputational risk. Ensure timely planning and procurement of services and indirect materials in alignment with project and departmental needs. Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, Facilities, IT, Commercial, and Marketing stakeholders to define requirements and achieve optimal business outcomes. Drive sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings, operational efficiency, and improved service quality. Maintain audit ready sourcing documentation, supplier scorecards, contract files and category records. Provide strategic guidance and escalation support for supplier issues and complex stakeholder negotiations. Mentor junior sourcing professionals by providing training on category strategies, procurement processes, tools and engagement best practices. Identify opportunities to enhance sourcing processes, tools, workflows, and evaluation criteria. Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and supplier events to stay current on market trends and emerging capabilities. Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to act as the "CEO of the category," owning strategy development, stakeholder alignment, and execution from concept through delivery. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, procurement/project management tools (e-sourcing, CLM, RFx platforms), and demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging GenAI and emerging digital procurement technologies to support Commercial, Marketing, and IT sourcing outcomes. Proven change management capability, including the ability to educate stakeholders, influence adoption, and reinforce procurement engagement and governance policies across Commercial, Marketing, and IT functions. We strive to deliver our best as we shape the future.​ Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, IT, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of relevant experience in procurement, indirect sourcing, supply chain, or category management. Prior experience supporting Commercial, Marketing, and/or IT stakeholders through strategic sourcing or vendor management strongly preferred. Experience leading sourcing projects, managing negotiations, and influencing cross‑functional teams. Working Conditions Typical office environment with options for remote and/or hybrid work arrangements. Occasional domestic travel for supplier visits, internal meetings, or industry events. Requirements
