Join Amex GBT's Strategic Sourcing Organization as a Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in procurement, contract analysis, and project management. You'll support enterprise-wide vendor strategy, drive partnerships, and contribute to real business initiatives alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Strong analytical and meticulous skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Excel and data organization
Ability to work effectively in remote/hybrid environments
Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic setting

procurement, supply chain, or contract negotiation experience
experience using project management tools

Responsibilities

Contract Analysis & Execution: Coordinate contract reviews and feedback across collaborators, vendor Relationship Managers (VRMs), and vendors
Prepare contract documentation and execution packages Project Management Support: Track vendor engagement timelines and milestones, coordinate cross-functional communications relating to key Strategic Sourcing initiatives
Analyze vendor performance, contract metrics, and cost savings opportunities
Document sourcing initiatives and business impact
Support vendor validation and onboarding activities
Contribute to process improvements and Responsible Sourcing initiatives
Partner with other internal teams including corporate services (like HR and finance), Product and Technology, and the Sourcing Center of Excellence
