Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
  • Legal, financial and business components of outsourcing/sourcing
  • Planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management
  • Working with and building successful relationships with business stakeholders, cross-functional groups and third parties
  • Driving change and improve end-to-end processes
  • Working in a global and virtual environment, both internally and with suppliers
  • Program management, vendor accountability and optimizing performance
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve issues strategically
  • Negotiating, breaking down cost models and knowledge on the drivers of ROI

Responsibilities

  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Facebook to strategically develop, implement and optimize outsourcing/sourcing and vendor management solutions.
  • Act as a thought partner for a continuously evolving billion-dollar business.
  • Work effectively with Facebook business teams as the primary.
  • Sourcing business partner and category expert, addressing supply chain and supply market opportunities.
  • Actively identify, track, and manage issues and risks for the projects.
  • Identify, develop, and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement, and category management practices.
  • Prepare and manage sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents.
  • Drive legal, financial, and technological aspects of outsourced programs.
  • Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
  • Ensure program success through effective performance management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with the business.
  • Balance business requirements versus technical constraints and maximize business benefits.
  • Manage complex outsourcing/sourcing projects (including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects).
  • Establish effective collaborative relationships with strategic Sourcing Category Teams, Contract Management Teams, Procurement.
  • Operations Teams and Procure-to-Pay to develop sound operational processes.
  • Ensure regional/local processes are aligned to Facebook’s global operating model.
  • Understand and apply policies, standards and practices established for vendor management.
  • Build and cultivate effective relationships with key suppliers.
  • Experience thinking strategically, operationally, and tactically.
  • Manage, coordinate and support special projects as needed.
