Duke Health Integrated Practice comprises more than 110 primary and specialty outpatient clinics, extending the reach of the Duke Health mission across the state of North Carolina.JOB LOCATION Duke South Clinics - 40 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Strategic Services Associate to contribute to the achievement of the Duke Health mission through the development and leadership of performance improvement activities in the operational and/or clinical arenas. This role will support the Duke Health Integrated Practice Office of the President and COO, focusing on project management, data analysis, strategic planning, and implementation of key priorities. This role will support and lead initiatives in ambulatory operations, access, and physician practice management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a business or health-related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required.
  • Experience can be supplemented with Master's degree with a Masters being equivalent to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects and task forces to support the President and COO to drive key initiatives aligned with Ambulatory and Physician Practice priorities, such as ambulatory footprint expansion, analysis for board meetings, and access improvement
  • Organize and lead meetings, prepare comprehensive presentations, and ensure follow-up on action items for executive leadership meetings
  • Lead process improvement efforts to improve workflows and develop project plans to enable successful execution of key initiatives
  • Support continued unification of ambulatory operations across practices (DHIP, DPC, cDHIP, HBC)
  • Analyze data to identify trends, create visual representations, and summarize insights to inform operations and strategy
  • Partner with the DHIP Chief of Staff on projects and initiatives directed by leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Provide leadership and event support for large events (team meetings, leadership summits, etc) including planning, coordination, and execution
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across DHIP Management System committees and councils.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
