About The Position

Strategic SATCOM Terminals Acquisition Program Manager, Senior The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to support Department of Defense (DoD) contracts? Are you adept at DoD acquisitions and contract strategy? As a Program Manager, you’ll work closely with our DoD clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives and ensuring our clients' mission is our mission. We’re looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the government client. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on critical Space Force programs. You’ll help the DoD manage software pathway programs as well as manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk. You’ll orchestrate the development, coordination, and closure of acquisition and contract documentation in accordance with established timelines and quality standards. From building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining consensus, you’ll lead meaningful acquisition support. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, program management, leadership, and business operations
  • 5+ years of experience with DoD Major Defense Acquisition Programs for space systems, including ground systems software and hardware
  • 2+ years of experience testing and fielding ground systems or components of ground systems, including command and control terminals
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities, and managing handling plans
  • Experience managing stakeholders and coordinating and hosting engagements
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience managing requirements and technical baselines
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively on a cross functional team and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience with the military satellite communications mission area
  • Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Confluence or Jira
  • Experience with the Software Acquisition Pathway
  • Top Secret clearance
