About The Position

The Strategic Projects Associate will support cross-functional initiatives that contribute to the development of advanced datasets used to improve the capabilities of next-generation artificial intelligence systems. This position combines elements of project management, operations strategy, and business development support in a fast-paced technology environment. The role requires strong intellectual curiosity, disciplined execution, and the ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple subject-matter experts and technical stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of initiative, analytical thinking, and operational ownership.

Requirements

  • 0–1 year of professional experience (recent graduates or candidates within their first year of employment)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Evidence of leadership experience through entrepreneurship, academic organizations, or student leadership roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative, resilience, and ownership mentality
  • Stable academic and professional background (jumpy resumes will not be accepted)
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, CA

Nice To Haves

  • Degree from a top-tier university or other strong academic signal
  • STEM degree or technical academic background
  • Internship experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, quantitative finance, product management, or technology startups

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and AI research partners to support the creation of specialized datasets used to train and enhance advanced AI systems
  • Coordinate teams of subject-matter experts across disciplines such as finance, software engineering, and legal research
  • Prepare sales memos, data samples, and supporting documentation used in partnership discussions and business development initiatives
  • Assist leadership with operational initiatives and strategic projects across the organization
  • Track project milestones and ensure cross-team alignment on deliverables and timelines
  • Support analysis and documentation related to emerging AI technologies and data infrastructure development
