Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager (P5) to join our North America Aftermarket Operations (AMO) organization. AMO encompasses a network of business units specializing in aircraft engine overhaul and part repair, serving both Pratt & Whitney and a broad range of global customers. As the Senior Manager, you will spearhead strategic efforts across AMO’s North America business units, requiring a collaborative and results-oriented leadership style to drive success.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree and 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Business, Project Management or Supply Chain; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
  • Strong communication skills: presentation, written, and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and other O365 tools.
  • Strategic thinker with sound business judgment and innovative mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Results-driven with the ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in building relationships and driving results through organizational savvy.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience within Aerospace or Aftermarket industry, ideally within a part repair station or DAT engine center.
  • Advanced degree in STEM, Project Management, Operations, or Business.
  • Experience in shop floor or operational environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels within the organization (entry level through executive).
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring early career employees.
  • Prior experience leading strategic projects or initiatives across functions.
  • Proven ability to establish or enhance processes in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engine and Aftermarket Operations businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide strategic support to AMO North America VP to drive organizational alignment and completion of key deliverables.
  • Manage daily operation of the AMO Development Program (short term assignment)
  • Develop and maintain overall schedule, priorities, and status for key projects
  • Support coordination of working teams and stakeholders to execute against plan
  • Lead and participate in regional working sessions to develop roadmaps, business cases, and other project deliverables
  • Summarize collected material from working teams for executive updates
  • Drive consistent strategic frameworks, content development, and support structures to working teams.
  • Partner across all functions within North America and the business units to ensure successful outcomes on key organizational initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly to all functional stakeholders to ensure alignment.
