Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong proficiency in contract negotiation, vendor agreements, and compliance standards.
  • Technical aptitude with deep understanding of complex integrated systems and components within the industry.
  • Proven ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and familiarity with procurement software solutions
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communicator with proven collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

  • Industry expertise in material handling or automated manufacturing/supplier environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cultivate new vendor partnerships across diverse solutions, designs, and manufacturers in alignment with Warehouse Equipment and Automation Sales team objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor onboarding processes, including execution of NDAs, Master Service Agreements, credit evaluations, scorecard development, and scheduling of periodic business reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize existing vendor relationships by implementing framework agreements that define terms and expectations.
  • Analyze order volumes and negotiate pricing strategies to secure the most competitive rates for future opportunities and orders.
  • Conduct procurement market research and analysis to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Design and oversee a structured process for supplier performance reviews, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and refine vendor set up protocols, including formal review procedures for new and existing suppliers.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for vendor-related issues, working closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to resolve concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive internal reports summarizing key procurement metrics, including purchasing volumes and supplier scorecard performance, for senior leadership.
