The Strategic Planning Manager will serve as an advisor and technical expert responsible for developing, managing, and executing strategic planning efforts for large, complex, interdisciplinary projects across the Department of State (DoS). The role provides high-level analytical, programmatic, and planning support to ensure alignment of mission objectives, financial resources, and digital strategy initiatives. Day to Day Responsibilities May Include: Review strategic financial, budget, and fiscal data to ensure accuracy and accountability for multi-year project portfolios. Maintain up-to-date monthly project funding status, reviewing and resolving unliquidated obligations, and preparing detailed budget justifications. Plan and conduct cost-effectiveness studies to inform IT investments, development processes, and budget initiatives. Serve as advisor for synchronizing, coordinating, and integrating all digital strategy initiatives. Coordinate strategic, programmatic, and budgetary initiatives across multiple stakeholders and organizational levels. Analyze management problems and providing advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions. Prepare and present briefing materials and provide clear, well-supported input in decision forums.
