About The Position

The Strategic Performance Leader serves as a key advisor to the CEO, President and Executive Leadership Team. This position translates enterprise strategy and long-term vision into measurable results through disciplined execution, enterprise reporting, and advanced analytics. Provides executive leadership for performance management, ensuring strategic priorities are clearly defined, tracked, and aligned to financial and operational outcomes. This role will accelerate execution of critical initiatives, strengthen governance, and enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or related major or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Prior experience in leadership role in a bank, with responsibility for data management and analytics and enterprise project management.
  • Minimum 7 years banking experience in the areas of project management, data management and data analytics.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to periodically travel to branch locations.
  • Project Management: Superior ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
  • Leadership: Advanced knowledge and skills in leading an organization with a strategic vision and achieving such through empowerment, collaboration, communication, team building and mentoring.
  • Business Acumen/Financial Management: Carries out organizational strategy with a clear understanding of industry trends, economic and market dynamics, and financial acumen. Knowledge of business and banking technology, operations and regulatory requirements including a moderate skill level in usage and promotion of such.
  • Communicator: Advanced interpersonal and project management skills, oral and written communication and ability to anticipate and guide the impact of effective internal and external communication strategies of the organization.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills including the ability to address situations by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
  • Technical: Must have a strong working knowledge and experience in banking products, systems and process. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements required. A self-user and promoter of technology. Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the functions of the Strategy Execution & Performance Management: Operationalize enterprise strategy through execution frameworks, performance metrics, and governance structures.
  • Enterprise Reporting & Analytics: Own executive and board-level reporting, dashboards, ROI models, and KPI standardization.
  • Vendor Performance Oversight: Ensure third-party investments deliver measurable business value and are continually reviewed for pricing, economic impact and performance.
  • Performance Measurement: including efficiency ratio, data accuracy, and 12-month strategic ROI targets and revenue growth.
  • Data & Analytics Leadership: Drive advanced analytics in all areas including forecasting, scenario planning, and performance evaluation. Responsible for ensuring data accuracy across the enterprise.
  • Synthesizing marketing data and resource alignment: In collaboration with Head of Marketing, design and implement structure performance management systems, including segmentation, strategies, profitability modeling and campaign ROI tracking, to ensure marketing investment is aligned with enterprise objectives. Assists in translating customer intelligence and market data into targeted growth strategies, optimizing budget allocation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitates the Strategic Plan, defined by the CEO and ELT and ratified by the board through ongoing creation, implementation, measurement and updating of the strategic plan and strategic priorities.
  • Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
